You're Not Inconsistent, You're Just Unclear

Image
You’re not struggling with consistency. You’re just consistent in the wrong things. “You don’t have a consistency problem, you have a clarity problem.” — Mosinmileoluwa Owosanya A new month always feels like a reset. For some, it’s a chance to start over. For others, it’s just another day to try again, to stay consistent, or at least try to. Goals are written. Plans are made. Journals are filled. But here’s the real question: What makes April different from March? Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending an online consistency masterclass by Mosinmileoluwa—someone who doesn’t just talk about consistency, but embodies it. And honestly? It felt like a mental reset. One statement stayed with me: “You don’t have a consistency problem—you have a clarity problem.” That line struck deeper than I expected. Because when you really think about it… we are all consistent. We are consistently: • scrolling endlessly • engaging in conversations that don’t move us forward • pro...

The Lie of Behind

The Lie of Behind

Have you ever felt like everyone else is miles ahead while you’re stuck in the in-between?

Like life is a jigsaw puzzle and somehow, you're still searching for your missing pieces?

It’s hard, isn’t it? Watching others seem to win at life while you’re still figuring things out. You feel like life favors all—except you. Then you begin to wonder: “Why am I behind in life?”

If that sounds familiar, pause for a moment and picture this:

A tiny seed. Buried deep in the soil, hidden from sight. It doesn’t look like much. It’s messy. It’s silent.
But beneath the surface, roots are spreading, life is forming, and growth is happening—even when no one notices.

Why I Stopped Blogging (and Why I’m Back)

I stopped working on my vision for this blog for a while because self-doubt whispered:
“You’re not good enough.”

And for a while, I believed it. But here I am, starting again. Because that’s what becoming looks like.
It doesn’t always add up now—but it will. And that’s why you need to silence the pressure to be ahead.

The Pressure to Be Ahead

We live in a world obsessed with speed and milestones:

  • ✅ Graduate by 21
  • ✅ Get a dream job by 23
  • ✅ Be married by 25
  • ✅ Own an empire at 30

If you’ve ticked those boxes, amazing!
But if you haven’t, that’s okay—these are not blueprints for your life.

Social media makes it worse. LinkedIn feels like a leaderboard. Instagram? A highlight reel where everyone seems to live your dreams while you only dream about them.

Everywhere you turn, someone’s timeline feels like a mirror reflecting your “delays.”

But here’s the truth: You’re not behind—you’re on your own timeline.

Your Pace is Not a Problem

What if your pace isn’t a problem, but a part of your process?
What if God is writing a story that requires these chapters of waiting, stretching, and growing deep roots before the bloom?

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1

Your life has its own rhythm. And that rhythm? It’s right on time.

Comparison kills clarity.
It convinces you that growth has an expiration date when in reality, becoming is not a straight line—it’s a sacred process.

What Becoming Really Means

Becoming is not about rushing to the finish line. It’s about embracing the in-between—the seasons of silence, the questions that linger, the small steps that don’t look like much but matter deeply.

You don’t need to have it all figured out to be faithful.
You don’t need to be perfect to live on purpose.

The in-between is holy ground.

Blooming While Becoming

Blooming while becoming means two things:

  • ๐ŸŒฟ Grace for now. Stop punishing yourself for being a work in progress.
  • ๐ŸŒธ Courage for next. Take the next small step with faith, even if the whole path isn’t clear yet.

Because becoming isn’t just about who you’re becoming tomorrow—it’s about who you’re already becoming today.

Dear Bloomer, you are not late. You are not lost. You are in process—and that’s enough.
