You're Not Inconsistent, You're Just Unclear
Welcome to The Bloomer's Corner, your safe space for personal growth and self-discovery. This blog is dedicated to inspiring young adults to embrace confidence, purpose, and spiritual rootedness through the journey of becoming. In this space, you are empowered to bloom while still becoming -grace for now, courage for next.
Have you ever felt like your dreams are stuck in traffic?
Yeah, traffic! Who hasn't experienced the frustration of being held up in a Lagos state gridlock? Trust me, you don't want to experience such a standstill. But what if your aspirations feel like they’re on hold? Nothing is working, and burnout sets in.
Think about the journey of becoming—where you’re allowed to bloom through every season of it. We often get drained in the hardest season: the season of waiting.
A season that makes you wonder: “Does God really answer prayers?” Or ask if you’re doing something wrong. Life feels lost, confusing, and overwhelming. And when people say, “keep trusting the process,” it stings—because the process feels long overdue.
I remember waiting for a major life opportunity. It felt like being stuck in a never-ending traffic jam. Every day I’d ask God: “When will this happen?”
But looking back, I realized the waiting season was where I grew the most. It was messy, confusing, and frustrating—but it was also where my faith was refined.
And when the opportunity finally arrived, I was ready. The waiting wasn’t just about reaching a destination—it was about becoming the person God wanted me to be.
This season is a prerequisite for fulfillment. It’s where faith is forged. And here’s the truth:
Faith isn’t built on clarity.
It’s born in confusion. It lives in uncertainty. It grows during the wait.
We live in a world that celebrates instant results and fast outcomes. That makes waiting frustrating. Like—who wants to wait for too long to get things on track?
But waiting is where character is shaped and faith is strengthened.
One of the greatest challenges of waiting? Trusting God.
We say we trust God, but deep down, we want full control. We want to flip to the last chapter—the good part. But God doesn’t just care about the ending. He’s writing every line, every pause, every delay for a reason.
In the season of waiting, it’s important to remember that growth, learning, and preparation are happening—even when you can’t see it.
Trusting God means trusting His plan, His timing, and His heart.
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” — Habakkuk 2:3
God’s plans and our expectations may not always align—but His timing is always perfect.
Blooming in the waiting means two things:
Because becoming isn’t just about what you’re stepping into—it’s about how you walk through where you are.
Dear Bloomer, waiting does not mean forgotten. You are still in God's plan, still on His path—and still becoming.
