You're Not Inconsistent, You're Just Unclear

You’re not struggling with consistency. You’re just consistent in the wrong things. “You don’t have a consistency problem, you have a clarity problem.” — Mosinmileoluwa Owosanya A new month always feels like a reset. For some, it’s a chance to start over. For others, it’s just another day to try again, to stay consistent, or at least try to. Goals are written. Plans are made. Journals are filled. But here’s the real question: What makes April different from March? Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending an online consistency masterclass by Mosinmileoluwa—someone who doesn’t just talk about consistency, but embodies it. And honestly? It felt like a mental reset. One statement stayed with me: “You don’t have a consistency problem—you have a clarity problem.” That line struck deeper than I expected. Because when you really think about it… we are all consistent. We are consistently: • scrolling endlessly • engaging in conversations that don’t move us forward • pro...

What 2025 Taught Me Without Asking

What if the problem isn't spiritual—but procedural?

Hey Bloomer,
Happy New Year ๐ŸŒธ
Welcome to the first Life Between Lines of 2026.

As we journey through this year, I’ll be sharing weekly reflections from my own path of becoming—small moments, quiet lessons, and the things life teaches without asking for permission.

Still riding the euphoria of a new year, I can’t help but reflect on one of the lessons 2025 taught me unexpectedly.

Let me take you down memory lane for a moment.

Last year, I tried to recover my Gmail account. As part of the verification process, I had to choose a mode of confirmation. Being a bloomer who dislikes stress (yet somehow always finds the most stressful route), I chose the option that required a one-time password sent via SMS.

So there I was, refreshing my inbox. Waiting. Refreshing again. Still nothing.

I tried. I retried. I got tired.

Until I noticed something.

After selecting the verification option, I was supposed to input my phone number before the code could be sent. But I didn’t. I assumed the process was automatic. So while I was obsessively refreshing my phone, the real issue was quietly waiting on my PC screen.

And in that moment, a thought struck me:

Sometimes we’re stuck not because something is wrong—but because we skipped a step.

Not everything is spiritual warfare. Not every delay is the enemy. Sometimes, it’s procedural. Incomplete obedience. Partial submission. Assumed understanding.

And the process pauses, not because it’s broken, but because it wasn’t completed.

So I want to gently turn this conversation toward you.

What step have you skipped that’s keeping you stuck?
What instruction did you assume you understood?
What process did you rush past in the name of “getting there faster”?

January feels like a clean page—crisp, open, full of possibility. But new beginnings still require attention, humility, and follow-through.

As we step into this year, my prayer is that we allow ourselves to complete the process.
To trust God with the stretch.
To bloom while becoming—without skipping the steps that shape us.

We serve a big God, and He loves meeting us at the beginning of something new.

๐ŸŒฑ Bloom Step:
Today, pause and ask yourself: “What is the next clear step I already know, but haven’t taken?”

Write it down. Complete that step this week, even if it feels small.

With grace for now and courage for next,
Precious ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’•
