You're Not Inconsistent, You're Just Unclear

You’re not struggling with consistency. You’re just consistent in the wrong things. “You don’t have a consistency problem, you have a clarity problem.” — Mosinmileoluwa Owosanya A new month always feels like a reset. For some, it’s a chance to start over. For others, it’s just another day to try again, to stay consistent, or at least try to. Goals are written. Plans are made. Journals are filled. But here’s the real question: What makes April different from March? Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending an online consistency masterclass by Mosinmileoluwa—someone who doesn’t just talk about consistency, but embodies it. And honestly? It felt like a mental reset. One statement stayed with me: “You don’t have a consistency problem—you have a clarity problem.” That line struck deeper than I expected. Because when you really think about it… we are all consistent. We are consistently: • scrolling endlessly • engaging in conversations that don’t move us forward • pro...

Faith That Waits and Works

Faith That Waits — and Works

Faith That Waits — and Works

“Just wait on God.”

Have you ever heard that and thought, “So... I’m supposed to sit still and do nothing?”

Like, okay — que sera sera, “whatever will be, will be”? Wrong.

Waiting on God doesn’t mean folding your arms and hoping for magic. It means trusting His timing while actively preparing for what you’ve prayed for.

Waiting isn’t passive. Waiting is active.

Because the truth is:

“Faith without works is dead.” — James 2:17

(If you missed Part One: Trusting God in the Waiting Season, read it first for the foundation of this series.)

Faith Waits and Works

Waiting is not wasting. It’s not God punishing you — it’s God preparing you.

This is your building season.

🌸 Competence: The skill and ability to sustain what you’ve been praying for.
🌱 Character: The inner strength to carry what’s coming without crumbling.

1. Competence: Stewing in the Season

Imagine praying for a global platform, but you can’t confidently speak to five people. Or asking for a leadership role without learning to lead yourself first.

That’s not faith — that’s fantasy.

Competence is developed in the hidden seasons.

  • David fought lions and bears in secret before standing before Goliath in public.
  • Joseph managed prison duties before running Pharaoh’s palace.

They were preparing — even when no one was watching. And when their seasons shifted, they didn’t stumble. They soared.

If you don’t prepare well before appearing, in no time, you’ll disappear.

2. Character: The Foundation of Fulfilment

Competence may open the door. But character will keep you there.

Waiting seasons can be uncomfortable because God is refining us.

  • He teaches us patience.
  • He trains us in humility and obedience.
  • He strengthens our discipline and self-control.

Without character, the very thing you prayed for can become the weight that breaks you.

God sometimes delays what you desire to develop who you are.

Instead of asking, “When will it happen?”
Start asking: “Who am I becoming while I wait?”

Faith in Motion

This isn’t the season to fold your arms and say, “Whatever will be, will be.”

It’s the season to partner with God. To obey before you see. To train before you’re seen. To build while you’re becoming.

Every skill you develop, every habit you form, every unseen act of discipline is shaping you for what’s coming.

The promise is certain. But are you preparing for the weight of what you’ve prayed for?

πŸ’Œ Dear Bloomer,
Waiting is not idle time, it’s investment time.

Build your faith. Build your competence. Build your character. Increase your knowledge.

And when the door opens, you’ll walk through ready.

Dear Bloomer,

What’s one thing you’re building in your waiting season?

Drop it in the comments or journal it this week.
